Sweden
he Kingdom of Sweden (Swedish: Konungariket Sverige) is a Nordic country in Scandinavia.It shares aborders with Norway and Finlandand is connected to Denmark in the southwest by the Oresund Bridge. Sweden has a low population density except in its metropolitan areas, with most of the inland covered by forests. Sweden is the 55th largest country in the world, the 3rd largest in Europe and the 1st largest in Northern Europe.
East of Sweden lies the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia, providing a long coastline.. To the west is the Scandinavian mountain chain (Skanderna), whichseparates Sweden from Norway. Sweden enjoys a mostly temperate climate despite its northern latitude, mainly because of the Gulf Stream.
North Germanic language, related and very similar to Danish and Norwegian, but differing in pronunciation. A majority of Swedes are able to understand and speak English thanks to trade links, the popularity of overseas travel, a strong Anglo-American influence and the tradition of subtitling rather than dubbing foreign television shows and films.
